Muvic vs Lexicon DJ
Lexicon is a library manager: it converts and organises collections across the major DJ apps. Muvic is the step before the library exists: getting the tracks bought in the first place. Most DJs who use both use them at different points in the week.

What Lexicon DJ does better
- Covers the whole DJ ecosystem: library conversion across six DJ apps, cue points, beatgrids, and smart playlists. Muvic does none of this.
- Runs on Windows as well as macOS, and has iOS and Android companion apps. Muvic is Mac plus browser only.
- Has the social proof Muvic does not yet: named testimonials, an A-Trak user story, and an active Discord community.
Common questions
Do I need both Muvic and Lexicon?
Plenty of DJs will want both, because they cover different steps. Muvic gets the tracks bought; Lexicon organises them into your DJ software afterwards. If you already own everything you play and only need it tidy, Lexicon alone is enough.
Lexicon already shows me where to buy a track. Is that the same thing?
Not quite. Store Links tell you where a track is sold and what it costs, then you do the clicking. Muvic does the clicking: it searches, matches the mix, and puts every track in your cart so you review one filled cart instead of fifty tabs.
I am on Windows. Can I use Muvic?
Not the desktop app, which is macOS 12 and later. There is a browser version at muvic.app/sync that works with the Sync Helper extension in Chrome, Firefox, or Safari, and it needs no Mac.
